Apartment tower project moving ahead northwest of downtown Dallas
The property is one of the last large vacant development sites in the Design District, which is northwest of downtown Dallas. The 27-story residential apartment tower at 1930 Hi-Line Dr will have 383 units. The project is valued at $93 million, according to data provided to the state.

This $610,000 land grab will expand natural prairie in the heart of Fort Worth
On Tuesday, the City Council will vote on purchasing the 53 acre track for $610,000. The nonprofit Friends of the Tandy Hill Natural Area raised $60,000 for the purchase, and the city will use revenue from its oil and gas fund. If approved, the combined Tandy Hill/Broadcast Hill property would create a preserve of Texas prairie in the heart of Fort Worth.

Since this year is yet another year where the Dallas Cowboys could not get it done, I can’t help but reflect another year passing when Championship Sunday does not include America’s team. There are so many reasons (or excuses) we offer: a bad break here or there, poor officiating, untimely injury, being under-coached and under prepared. Could it be simply because they weren’t not good enough to get the job done?
