    Denton mulls tax incentives for Tyson Foods facility that could mean 100 jobs

    Denton could extend roughly $750,000 in tax incentives to Tyson Foods if the company decides to construct a new storage and distribution center in the city. As reported by the Denton Record-Chronicle, Springdale, Arkansas-based Tyson is considering building a facility that would encompass 350,000 square feet and add 100 new jobs. Those positions would pay an average of $24.82 an hour. City documents show the center would be located near the intersection of Jim Christal Road and Western Boulevard.…

    Take a look at another Crystal Lagoon under development in Texas

    Land Tejas Cos. broke ground on its 12-acre Crystal Lagoon in the master-planned community Lago Mar in Texas City Nov. 15. The manmade lagoon will be six times as big as the first Crystal Lagoon in Balmoral, another Land Tejas community northeast of Houston.
